Post-Holiday Reset: Detox with Lemon, Ginger, and Honey Drink

The holidays are a time for indulgence, but they can leave your body feeling bloated and sluggish. This simple detox drink is perfect to kick-start your day and cleanse your system naturally.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Hot Water: Hydrates and soothes digestion.
  • 1 slice of fresh Lemon: Rich in vitamin C, supports digestion, and helps flush toxins.
  • 1-2 slices of fresh Ginger: Reduces inflammation and boosts metabolism.
  • 1 teaspoon of Honey: Adds natural sweetness and provides antibacterial properties.

Instructions

  1. Heat water to a comfortable drinking temperature (too hot can destroy honey’s beneficial properties).
  2. Add the ginger slices to the water and let them steep for 2–3 minutes.
  3. Squeeze the lemon slice into the water and drop it in.
  4. Stir in the honey until it dissolves completely.
  5. Sip slowly, ideally in the morning, to jumpstart your digestion and detox your system!
